Singer Chae Yeon is a big fan of her fellow female solo artists!
On November 9, Chae Yeon talked about her responsibilities as a singer of over 15 years at a showcase held for the release of her upcoming single “Bazzaya.”
When asked if there were any junior artists that have caught her eye, Chae Yeon replied, “I like female artists such as TWICE, Suzy, Sunmi, HyunA, and others. I think it’s great that the number of female solo artists is increasing. I’d like if there were a bit more.”
The singer then expressed her feelings on promoting during the “November Comeback Rush.” She remarked, “My activities are separate from the junior idols’ comebacks. I just need to do well.”
She continued, “I know that I won’t be able to place No. 1 on the music charts. However, I’d still like others to know that I’m making a Korean comeback and continuing to promote with this song, even if I don’t appear on broadcast much. I want to continue to give off good energy to you all.”
Chae Yeon will be making a comeback in over three years and six months with her new single “Bazzaya” on November 13.
